2. No cookies
This website does not set cookies, does not use advertising services and does not use third-party analytics products. All fonts, stylesheets and scripts are served from this domain. The interactive simulations on this site are self-contained files served from this domain and run in sandboxed frames in your browser; they transmit no data.
3. Local storage in your browser
If you mark an answer as your pick on a round page, or switch the 3D view on or off,
that choice is saved in your browser's local storage (keys bt_pick_… and
bt-3d). This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us and is
not accessible to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; the site
works without it.
4. Reach measurement (cookieless)
To learn which pages are read at all, each page sends one anonymous signal to
tannenbaum-media.de/t, containing nothing but the domain and the path of
the page you are viewing. The receiving server logs only the timestamp and that path —
no IP address, no user agent, no referrer — sets no identifier and combines nothing
across page views, sessions or devices. The result is a plain per-day page counter that
cannot be traced back to you as a person. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in
understanding which content is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically stores technical access data in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred data volume, referrer URL and browser user agent. This data is processed to deliver the website reliably and securely (legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), is not merged with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short retention period.
6. Hosting
This website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany — i.e. within the European Union. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21) regarding your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
